If you have been searching in vain to find nameplate caps for your STI Ultegra ST-6510, 105 5510 or 105 R600 STI shifters I have a solution for you. The original part Y-6C898030 is just about impossible to find because Shimano stopped producing them. For sale are a pair (2) of bright silver custom 3D printed nameplate covers that will fit Shimano 6510, 5510, and R600 9 speed STI shifters with set screws included. I worked with a professional 3D shop to prototype and print them. They are printed with high quality ABS plastic that is UV stable and stronger than the original. They are finished with a silver paint topped with a light clear-coat. They look awesome on my Ultegra shifters and certainly will make yours look way better. Like any 3D part there may be small imperfections. Take look at the attached pictures of these new covers and judge for yourself. My shifters are not included and are in the pictures for illustration only. If you are not happy with them I’ll accept returns for 30 days after delivery at buyers expense and only if they are both returned with all screws etc. and in original condition. If you are wondering “Will These Fit?” squeeze the brake lever. Is there a set screw on the back side of the cap? Carefully pull the brake hood back from the outside on the right shifter near the handlebar the model stamp should say 5510, 6510 or R600. if these are true then these will fit. I have 100% positive feedback so you can buy with confidence. Purchases made before noon CT are usually shipped same day.
Note: I had to raise the price by $1.50 due to the last increase by the USPS and now managed payments has significantly increased my fees as well. I have been absorbing the cost increases for a while now so I think the extra $1.50 is justified. hope you understand.
