Mid to Late 1800’s Sewing Thread Box with Drawer & Pin Cushion with Contents!
As found in the estate, the approximate 6¾” x 5″ x 6¼” tall thread box includes; a note with two wood bobbins (“The wooden bobbins are very antique – hand made of solid wood. They are from a vanity and sewing cabinet made for an old member of the family more than 100 years ago.” dated 1955); a wood thread winder; a celluloid thread winder; and small commercial platform of wound thread. The box is designed to hold and dispense 6 spools of thread.
One or the thread “eyes” is missing and the pin cushion has a “newer” fabric covering
